Trust / Data Deletion
Delete the right data, through the right system.
Deleting data held by JINGTANG, disconnecting an authorized platform account, and deleting content held by a third-party platform are distinct actions.
Delete JINGTANG-held data
Account and Workspace deletion are separate in-product requests with explicit confirmation and durable references. Account deletion immediately disables access, removes the user's profile and memberships, and disconnects platform authorizations created by that account; shared Workspaces and their content remain available to eligible remaining members. Workspace deletion removes that Workspace, its memberships, source assets, content, publishing records, and applicable authorization data. Neither action deletes content already held by a third-party platform. For help, send a request from your account email to the support address below without including passwords, OAuth tokens, or unnecessary content. JINGTANG verifies authority, deny-marks affected access, and targets applicable live-data deletion within 7 days.
Disconnect and revoke platform access
In-product disconnect stops new API operations, erases stored tokens, stops refresh, and cleans applicable Authorized Data. JINGTANG uses programmatic provider revocation only where the relevant integration supports and approves it. For Instagram, JINGTANG immediately completes its local disconnect but does not claim Meta-side revocation: the user must open Instagram, go to Website permissions → Apps and websites → Active, and remove JINGTANG. The product shows removal pending until a verified deauthorization callback confirms provider revocation; token expiry is not confirmation. Users may also remove access through Google Security Settings, Facebook Settings, or TikTok app-permission controls. Signed platform data-deletion requests enter the same deny-first durable cleanup path and return an opaque status reference where required.
Delete content held by YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or another platform
Deleting JINGTANG data or disconnecting authorization does not delete content stored by YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or another platform. Delete a published Facebook Page video in Facebook, an Instagram Reel in Instagram, and a TikTok post through TikTok's own account controls. Use the relevant platform's controls for other hosted content. JINGTANG does not currently claim third-party content deletion capability.
Timing and backups
Applicable live user and Authorized Data is removed as soon as possible and within 7 days after an authorized request or in-product revocation. External revocation detected through validity checks is cleaned within the applicable 30-day maximum. Isolated encrypted backups expire within 35 days and replay deletion records before restored data can serve traffic.
